Why switch regions?

SericaVPN has servers in 60+ regions around the world. You might want to switch regions for several reasons:

• Lower latency: Connecting to a server closer to your physical location usually gives you faster speeds
• Region-specific access: Some content or services are only available in certain countries
• Bypassing local blocks: If one region’s route is being interfered with, another may work better
• Load balancing: Switching can help if a particular server is under heavy load

How to switch

In Hiddify (all platforms)

1. Connect to the VPN if you aren’t already
2. On the main screen, tap/click the current server name (e.g., “Singapore Optimized”)
3. A list of all available regions appears
4. Tap/click the region you want to connect to
5. The app will disconnect and reconnect to the new server automatically

In V2RayNG (Android)

1. Make sure you are subscribed and have an updated server list
2. On the main screen, tap any server in the list to select it
3. Tap the V button to connect to that specific server

In Streisand (iOS)

1. Tap the server name on the main screen
2. Select a new region from the list
3. The app reconnects automatically

How to pick the best region

Hiddify automatically recommends the fastest server, but you can manually optimize:

• Ping test: Many apps show latency next to each server. Lower numbers (measured in ms) mean faster response times.
• Geography rule: Generally, pick the server closest to your real location for the best speed.
• Testing: If one region feels slow, try another. Network conditions change throughout the day.
