1. Download Happ
Happ is our recommended client for macOS. It supports Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) and Intel Macs.
Download options:
After downloading, open the .dmg file.

2. Install the app
- Open the downloaded
.dmgfile - Drag the Happ icon into your Applications folder
- Open Happ from Applications
- If macOS warns you that the app is from an unidentified developer, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway
You may need to enter your Mac password to confirm.

3. Allow the system extension
When you first connect, macOS will ask you to allow a system network extension:
- Click Open System Settings
- Under VPN & Filters, toggle Happ to Allowed
- You may need to restart the app
This step is required for Happ to create a VPN tunnel.

4. Add your subscription
- Open Happ
- Click Settings (gear icon)
- Go to the Subscription tab
- Click Add from URL
- Paste your SericaVPN subscription link (copy it from your dashboard)
- Click Add, then click Update

5. Connect
- Return to the main screen
- Pick a server region from the list
- Click the Connect button
- Wait for the status to change to Connected
You are now protected. Happ adds a menu bar icon so you can connect and disconnect with one click.

1. Download v2RayTun
v2RayTun is an alternative client for macOS.
Download options:
After downloading from the App Store, the app installs automatically.

2. Open the app
- Open v2RayTun from your Applications folder or Launchpad
- If macOS warns you, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway

3. Add your subscription
- Open v2RayTun
- Click Subscription at the top
- Paste your SericaVPN subscription link (copy it from your dashboard)
- Click Update

4. Connect
- Pick a server from the list
- Click the Connect button
- macOS will ask you to allow VPN configuration — click Allow
You are now protected.

Tips
- Menu bar icon: Both apps add a menu bar icon for quick connect/disconnect
- Auto-connect: Enable auto-connect in the app settings so it reconnects when you switch Wi-Fi networks
- Shortcuts: You can add a keyboard shortcut or Siri Shortcut to connect with a keypress
Troubleshooting
- “App cant open”: Right-click the app and choose Open, then confirm in System Settings
- “System extension blocked”: Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Extensions → Network Extensions and enable the app
- “Failed to bind”: Quit other VPN apps that may be holding the network interface
- “Subscription not loading”: Check that your subscription link is still active in your dashboard
